Ladies of Charity

The Ladies of Charity at Nativity Parish are involved in a variety of ministries.  We visit those who are homebound, and deliver fruit baskets at Thanksgiving and Easter along with Poinsettias at Christmas.

Our group does several collections for the needy including clothing, stamps and travel size toiletries.

Each spring a Mass for Anointing of the sick is celebrated along with a luncheon.

We meet the first Thursday of every month September through May.  New members are always welcome!

Religious Education

Nativity Religious Education provides a wide range of spiritual learning for children attending public school, home schooled or have special needs. Our Certified Catechists who volunteer their time and talents are dedicated to bringing the Word of God to your children along with understanding the Word and teaching them to grow in their faith.

Attending Mass, receiving reconciliation during Lent, performing service projects, making holiday cards for the shut-ins are just some of the ways we teach them to love and respect God and one another.

We currently teach children in grades 1 through 8. Our second and eighth grade catechists provide excellent guidance in preparing them for receiving First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion and eighth grade receiving the Holy Spirit at Confirmation.

Religious Education is on Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 6:15 PM beginning in mid-September and ending the end of April.
